Experienced caregivers. Outstanding drivers.
GoKart’s drivers love kids! In order to become a driver, the interview process clearly must reveal that they are passionate about kids and kids safety. Most drivers are mother’s themselves and understand that safety is our #1 priority. Our website will have photos of the drivers and a brief biography. You will be able to show your child their driver’s picture and learn about who they are in the process.
Stacy is passionate about kids safety and them staying in the activities they love. She has driven her own 3 kids for almost 15 years. Having elementary, middle school and high school aged kids has helped her understand the strains of parent’s work schedule and getting kids to where they need to go. So far the kids Stacy has driven have said that she is “Nice” and “Cool” which is a big compliment coming from teenagers. Stacy is the proud new parent of a Golden Retriever puppy named Harper and a diehard Steelers fan.Stacy Shannon

Leah is a lifelong North Carolinian, and has enjoyed raising her family with her husband in Wake County since 2001. She is passionate about family, music & four legged friends of the canine persuasion. Leah grew up in a big family and is just as content with a car full of kids as with a quiet ride alone. When she is not working for GoKart, Leah is attending her sons’ baseball games, visiting family on the coast of NC, working with the youth at her church, or teaching one of her 18 piano students at her home in northern Wake County.Leah
I moved to Holly Springs 6 years ago after enjoying many years of working on the administrative side of in an independent school in San Francisco Bay Area. Coordinating trips and handling students schedules is nothing new to me! And, as a single parent when my own two children were teenagers, I understand the juggling act and the emotions of coordinating rides between school to dance, ice hockey, golf and home. I look forward to providing a safe drive for your children as they pursue their extracurricular activities.Christine
Hello! My name is Susan, and I am the mother of five wonderful people, ages 20 to 40 years old! I relocated to North Carolina almost six years ago from south Florida, but I’ve lived most of my life in Maryland, raising my kids for 31 years there, eight of those years as a single parent.
I worked for six years on staff of a very busy health club Kids’ Place, supervising, caring for and playing with children ages 6 months to 12 years old. I also provided daycare in my home for several toddlers over the years, including two of my six grandchildren.
I have a BS in marketing, which I earned while expecting my fifth child back in 1996. My life has always been centered around children, and their safety and wellbeing come first at all times. I recognize a need for safe transportation and supervision for children and I will take good care of yours, from door to door!

Hi, my name is Michelle. I have been living in the Triangle area for 31 years and a mom of 2. Initially, my decision to drive for GoKart was to help other working parents. That reason remains unchanged but it has become much clearer now that there still much need for reliable transportation. I understand the difficulties of finding the balance of work and family. I am fortunate enough to have a flexible full-time job with the State of North Carolina, a job I’ve had for the last 17 years and all the while serving as a safety officer for my office for over 10 years. I’m originally from the Philippines but raised in Chapel Hill while my parents were in grad school at UNC-CH back in the 80’s. I am also a UNC-CH alumni. Even though I only drive a few hours a week, those few hours have been very satisfying because your children makes my day a little bit better! I will give your kids the attention and the safe environment that I provide for my own.Michelle L.

I am a proud mom of a 19-year-old successful young man who I raised single. I have experience as a mom, aunt, babysitter and working with children with special needs. I have been a hair stylist the last ten years and five of those years I owned my own salon. I was lucky enough to be an extension of many families. My main concern will be that your children arrive at their destination happy and safe.Nikki
